A Zoom audition is being held in Texas this month for 'American Idol'

The auditions will take place through Zoom on Aug. 10. Tyler native Fritz Hager will join the next batch of hopefuls in the virtual waiting room, where he will answer questions and offer tips. Earlier this year, Hager placed fifth on the show. If you cannot attend the audition, you can submit a prerecorded audition. The contestants must be at least 15 years old.
