title iconLeague of Legends' best Sivir build

Known as mid-scope updates, Riot Games' newest initiative in League of Legends aims to revitalize champions whose designs have held up well, yet whose kits have proven difficult to balance. Taliyah and Swain, who have faltered in their intended role, are once again at the top of the meta thanks to these mid-scope updates.

As new, more complex champions are released Sivir, an ADC that has been present since the game's release, received a mid-scope update.

The new changes emphasize Sivir's ability to poke enemies from a distance, while also forcing players to keep tabs on her mana with the removal of mana refreshes. Even though Sivir's mid-scope update has only been live for a little over a week,

she has been hotfix-nerfed within 24 hours of her changes going live and continues to stand out. Patch 12.14 will bring unspecified nerfs to Sivir, but she could remain an excellent choice in the bot lane, likely venturing back into professional play once her changes are implemented.

Lethal Tempo

It has always been Sivir's ability to poke her enemies, whether, through abilities or basic attacks, that defines her. With the Lethal Tempo keystone, Sivir can accomplish this goal more effectively. When Sivir attacks an enemy champion,

She gains a large burst of attack speed for a few seconds, increasing her range if the rune is stacked. With Sivir's innate attack speed boost and her ultimate, Lethal Tempo will ensure that players are constantly dealing damage, no matter how far their enemies are away.

Mind Control

Sivir's E no longer grants sister when nullifying an enemy's ability. Thus, players are unable to spam Sivir's Q and W as easily as before, reducing Sivir's poke potential, especially early on.

Bringing Presence of Mind rewards Sivir with a bit of mana regeneration for attacking enemies, as well as restoring a flat amount for taking them down. It will prove useful both in early-game and late-game fights when spamming abilities becomes easier.

Legend: Alacrity

Sivir's attack speed makes it easier for her to force her enemies to retreat. Stacking Legend: Alacrity will give Sivir a steady increase in attack speed as he plays the game. The rune may not seem useful immediately, but as players reach the late game, they'll notice that Sivir's basic attacks alone are enough to pose a formidable threat.

Coup de Grace

ADCs benefit from coup de grace as it provides them with more damage to low-health opponents. Combined with Sivir's high attack speed and her ability to throw projectiles with ease, players should have no problem getting their opponents below the 40-percent threshold,

when this rune will activate. Once champions build more items, it may be more difficult to do this in the late game, but it can prove crucial in the early game.

Magical Footwear

While taking this rune prevents Sivir from buying boots before she has the Slightly Magical Footwear in her inventory, it saves her around 300 gold and increases her movement speed slightly. By accumulating takedowns, Sivir can access these boots quicker than 12 minutes into the game.

Delivery of biscuits

As with Presence of Mind, Sivir needs external methods to control her mana. Aside from granting her a small amount of HP as an extra potion, the biscuits provided with Biscuit Delivery can also provide Sivir with a small amount of mana, allowing her to push waves that she would otherwise not be able to push.

This central starting item provides ADCs with damage, health, and a small amount of omnivamp. In the planning phase, it is especially useful to ensure that ADCs, which are often very frail, can sustain themselves.

Potions of Health

With her mid-scope update, Sivir's defenses remain mostly unchanged. She does not have any means of healing herself without external support, except for her newly-changed E, which heals her for blocking an enemy's ability.

The best option for players is to buy health potions until they reach a point where their life steal, omnivamp, or support healing is more reliable.

Ward of Stealth

The presence of a ward is never detrimental. It is helpful to coordinate with your support about where to ward in the planning phase so that you can keep an eye on the enemy jungle and avoid bot lane ganks. Sivir's passive associated with her ultimate has been moved to her W, making more sense since the passive directly impacts this ability.

Sivir's active attack speed burst synergizes significantly with the Mythic item Kraken Slayer, which had been a suboptimal choice before she changed it. Kraken Slayer gives Sivir bonus true damage every third attack, as well as bonus attack damage, attack speed, and crit chance.

Dancer Phantom

Due to the addition of Zeri to League's evolving cast, this legendary-tier item's usage has surged because it grants movement speed and ghosting for attacking enemies. Due to her lack of mobility when her ultimate is not available, Sivir also benefits from these items. To ensure they can out-speed their opponents, players should choose this item after completing their Mythic item.

Berserker’s Greaves

Berserker's Greaves will allow Sivir to increase both her attack speed and movement speed simultaneously. Additionally, the Magical Footwear rune increases the movement speed of these boots, allowing Sivir to outpace her opponents who do not take runes into account.

Edge of Infinity

Despite its price, Infinity Edge is an essential item for ADCs who rely on crit chance to increase their damage. At this point, Sivir should have approximately 40 percent crit chance from her other items, so the additional 20 percent granted by Infinity Edge will activate its passive.

She will then deal 35 percent more damage when she hits critical hits on enemies, which will stack with the passives of her other items and runes, making her nearly unstoppable.

Regards, Lord Dominik

It is extremely difficult for Sivir to deal with enemies who have high defenses and high health levels. In retaliation, she can kite them, with the added bonus of having her ultimate increase her movement speed when she needs to run away.

The player should invest in a Lord Dominik's Regards, or an incomplete Last Whisper, which grants armor penetration and increased damage against opponents with more health than her, to better deal with tanky enemies.

Reaver of Essence

Sivir's final item slot can be adjusted depending on the composition of the enemy team, but Essence Reaver is a great item for further increasing her damage output. Whenever Sivir uses an ability, her next basic attack gains a large attack boost. In the late game,

Sivir's abilities can be spammed almost freely to accomplish this. However, players should be aware of Sivir's mana costs, since they will certainly limit her ability to activate this item.
