title iconSonic Origins is being worked on by Sega to fix a variety of issues

We were quite impressed with Sega's Sonic Origins compilation that was released in June, but not everyone was happy with how it turned out. There have been some requests from members of the Sonic community for patches to fix certain bugs and issues that have arisen. The good news is that the team is currently working on a patch. Sonic fans were informed on Twitter by Sega of America's social media manager Katie Chrzanowski that a patch would be released in the future.

"Thank you so much for your patience! The team has been listening and is working on a variety of issues at the moment.  Once we have more details for everyone, we will be sure to get some more formal messaging out once there is more information for everyone."It was announced earlier this week that a Sonic Origins modder would be discontinuing the development of their project after venting their frustrations about the game's bugs and DRM online earlier in the week. Sonic Origins contributors have also shared their own thoughts about the current state of the compilation in the past.
