title iconThe Gamers Festival returns to Dublin in October

This epic weekend celebration of gaming entertainment includes the latest games, VR gaming, esports, gaming competitions, special guests including Twitch creators and YouTubers, and a host of live stage performances. Additionally, the organizers have announced an exciting new collaboration with Lucozade, the title sponsor of GamerFest 2022, who will support a wide range of gaming activations throughout the event.

As a community-led, diverse gaming event, GamerFest has grown into a staple for gamers across the nation since its inception in 2017. Whether you play casually with friends or compete in competitive esports tournaments, develop and design games, or create content, GamerFest is here for you.

A host of YouTube and Twitch special guests will attend this October's GamerFest, which has become a hub for content creator talent in Ireland. In addition to Antitinkerbell, Jamie Jay Car, The Gara Show, Audrey, and event hosts All Cast Irish Gamers, more special guests are on the way. A packed lineup of esports will be available on the GamerFest Main Stage, including an official partnership with Ubisoft and the launch of the Rainbow Six Siege Ireland Open.

A professional sport in the Rainbow Six Northern Premier League can be earned by Irish teams in this tournament. It offers an incredible opportunity for Irish teams to qualify for the UK Ireland Nationals. As part of the event, organizers are partnering with Legion Collegiate Esports, the country's dedicated esports series for students at the third level. A variety of titles will be played by some of the best student esports talents in Ireland, including Rocket League, Apex Legends, and FIFA.

On a real-life court, participants can fight with virtual energy balls and shields in HADO, the latest in Augmented Reality gaming. At GamerFest, HADO will launch the first Irish HADO Championship, where the winning team will represent Ireland at the upcoming HADO European Championships. As with our visitors, the people behind GamerFest are gamers themselves. The gaming community has been our focus since we held our first event five years ago.

We make sure our events have the best games, content, special guests, and entertainment possible through community input." While the Covid pandemic has spanned the decade since 2020, it has been extremely difficult not to see our community. GamerFest is back this year, so we're extremely happy to see the enthusiasm for the event. People will be able to get together and celebrate all things gaming, bringing to life their incredible online friendships and relationships.
