A two-handed melee weapon, the Scythe boasts a quick swing with a wide arc for deadly effectiveness. Black Ops Cold War's newest melee weapon, the scythe, can be unlocked in a few different ways. Warzone

The best way to accomplish this is to use a respawn playlist like Fortune's Keep Resurgence mode. When you find Dead Silence field upgrades, make sure you grab them.

While 15 matches might seem like a long time, just make sure you have a melee weapon when you activate Dead Silence. It's also important to remember that you won't progress toward the challenge if you leave the match early.

Black Ops Cold War MP

It should be pretty easy to accomplish this. Pair your favorite melee weapon with Ninja or Dead Silence. The challenge will likely be easier to complete if you choose playlists with smaller maps like Nuketown 24/7. When you leave early in the match, you will not make any progress toward the challenge.

Zombies

If you're a Zombies fan, this unlock challenge shouldn't be too difficult. Power-Ups like Insta-Kills are pretty common in Zombies. Getting melee kills with Insta-Kill might be easier in multiplayer, especially if you select small map playlists. Store bundle

If you don't want to do the unlock challenge, you can also buy the Scythe's weapon blueprint. It is part of the Death's Approach cosmetic pack, which is themed around the blue bunny, Mister Peeks, from Zombies mode.
