Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will be released in 2022 and will continue the rebooted story that began in 2019. With every passing day, more information is surfacing online and this time a new video leak has also surfaced.

The leak is titled a "test gameplay," which indicates that anything shown in the concept video may not appear in the final game.

The new leak came from an anonymous Infinity Ward employee with an unknown motive, but the players sure are treated well.

A closer look at the footage reveals that the camera movement is very cinematic and the movement animations of the protagonist are highly detailed. It would seem that this is a cinematic trailer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, but the "test gameplay" title is confusing.

Players can expect a more polished and smooth COD game if this is the leaked footage for the sequel. Also, as with COD Vanguard, the new game might make use of the cover system and encourage gamers to use it.

Apart from the video leak, the game will likely take up the story of the new Task Force 141, and players might see iconic characters like Captain Price and Soap make a return. As part of that, it will also say farewell to the series with its second game, which has also surprised many fans.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will likely be available on all platforms, including the newer consoles and PCs. In addition, PlayStation fans don't have to worry about following Activision's purchase by Xbox, since Microsoft will ensure the partnership holds strong in the years to come.
