Cal Kestis' Disney+ TV series rumored to star in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

There is a rumor that Cal Kestis, the protagonist of the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, may soon be featured in a new spin-off series on Disney+.

Kostis has quickly become a fan favorite character within the Star Wars universe since Fallen Order first launched in 2019.

Although Kestis will appear again in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in 2023, it sounds like Disney may have even bigger plans for him in the future.

Kristian Harloff has revealed that Disney and Lucasfilm are working on a new TV series associated with Kestis that will run on Disney+. According to reports, Cameron Monaghan, who portrayed Kestis in Fallen Order, will play the character again in this show.

Despite this, production dates have not yet been set, which means if the show is real, it could still be a while before it hits the screen.

As a whole, this is a move that makes a lot of sense for both Disney and Lucasfilm. Cal Kestis is one of the most popular new characters that has appeared in any Star Wars media since Disney purchased the franchise.

Disney's desire to capitalize on Kestis' popularity through a new TV series just seems logical, especially since Lucasfilm is already exploring the same period through shows like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor.

I'd like to emphasize that everything outlined here should be taken with a grain of salt for now. Harloff, who is sharing the rumor, has stated that nothing is official as of yet.

The source who shared these details with Harloff is said to be reliable, which is why he felt the need to relay the information to Harloff in the first place.

Time will tell if any of this comes to fruition, but it wouldn't be surprising to see a Kestis TV show down the road.

Thank You!
