Disney+ Releases First Trailer for LEGO Star Wars Special

Lego Star Wars Summer Vacation is a special going straight to streaming on August 5, based on everyone's favorite bricks from the galaxy far, far away. Disney+ released the first official trailer for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation.

'Yoda' and 'The Saga Begins' were Yankovic's previous Star Wars parody songs, and he will perform an original spacefaring ballad in this new special titled 'Scarif Beach Party.' The artist will also be a LEGO character, Vic Vankoh, in the film:

Aside from Yvette Nicole Brown, Kelly Marie Tran, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, and other returning cast members from previous LEGO Star Wars specials, the following voice actors will grace the stage:

Among the features of the LEGO, special will be a special appearance from Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi: The upcoming special will show Finn and Obi-Wan's Force Ghost interacting for the first time inside a cantina: The special's press release included an official synopsis along with the trailer, which teased Finn's important role amidst the huge cast:

The film's director is Ken Cunningham, with David Shayne as a writer and executive producer. James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert, Jason Cosler, Keith Malone, and Jennifer Twiner Mccarron are executive producers. Together with Atomic Cartoons, LEGO has produced this special.

Following Poe's and Rey's LEGO adventures on the small screen, Finn is now in the driver's seat. Even though Finn's role in the Skywalker Saga was underutilized in the last three films, this LEGO special will hopefully redeem him in unexpected ways.

It seems safe to assume that LEGO Disney+'s summer-themed adventure will be just as fun as its previous LEGO Disney+ specials. Luke Skywalker is missing from the cast list. It's unclear whether the original trilogy hero will appear, but Disney might have intentionally omitted the character from the list to make a surprise appearance at some point in the cartoon.

Because this LEGO special is set after the events of The Rise of the Skywalker, Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine's presence also hints at a time travel element. The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special featured Rey Skywalker revisiting iconic moments from the Skywalker Saga after discovering a Jedi temple and being blown away through space and time.

Alternatively, Anakin Skywalker's Force Ghost might eventually reveal Vader and Palpatine's scenes as flashbacks, recounting the tale of his failed vacation with his former master.

It shows a hilarious take on the fans' favorite heroes of the galaxy far, far away. Overall, the trailer is full of chaos, cheesy one-liners, and galactic party shenanigans. On August 5, Disney+ will air LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation.

Thank You!
