Featuring the Gen 1 starters of Pokemon and Bear Walker

For the Pokemon 25th anniversary celebrations, the Pokemon Company collaborated with brands like Uniqlo, McDonald's, and even big artists such as Post Malone and Katy Perry. Pokemon fans are always seeking lifestyle items that incorporate their favorite pocket creatures.

With the release of a new collection featuring four Pokemon from Generation 1, including the three iconic starters and one from the Kanto region, Bear Walker has revealed a new collection of skateboard designs.

With every new generation of Pokemon video games, a greater number of pocket creatures are added to the database. However, the fanbase seems to have a nostalgic love affair with the original Kanto starters.

In addition to being popular among the crowd, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle often feature in fan art and merchandise created by the community. In their official partnerships with mainstream consumer brands, The Pokemon Company often incorporates one or all of the Gen 1 starters because they know about the love for the starters.

As part of the sixth official collaboration with Bear Walker, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle take center stage in this collection. Pikachu, Eevee, and its whole evolution line-up, as well as legendaries like Mew, have all been featured on Bear Walker's limited-edition Pokemon skateboards.

However, this is the first collection in the brand's history that focuses primarily on the Kanto region starters in their base versions. Although the brand does have a Charizard skateboard design, this is the first collection to feature Cubone, a Pokemon from the 1st Generation which Bear Walker personally likes.

The limited-edition skateboards will retail for around $249.99 each, and they can be purchased on the Pokemon Center website in the United States and Canada.

Bear Walker skateboards may sell out quickly, so fans interested in purchasing official Pokemon merchandise should stay updated on the official website.

Bear Walker may also produce limited-edition Pokemon skateboard designs for Gen 9 Pokemon, since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be released in November 2022.

If Bear Walker does decide to incorporate the upcoming Pokemon video game into a new collection, fans will have to follow the brand's official platforms.
