Pokemon Go Deino Community Day is just around the corner, and who knows what surprises we might see? There are many Pokemon from the Unova region, including Deino and its evolutions.
Aside from being the first Pokemon of the Dark and Dragon types, they are also classified as pseudo legends. Hydreigon is the final evolution of Deino so it is a powerful Pokemon in Pokemon Go.
The featured Pokemon for this month's Community Day event is Deino, which is great news for trainers. Trainers will have the opportunity to capture as many Deino as they can during the event window, in addition to obtaining a move that Hydreigon will be able to use in battle. Trainers may also have the chance to catch a Shiny Deino in this event.
We've got this handy guide on all things Deino Community Day for Pokemon Go that can help you with everything you need to know.
Shiny Pokemon are most often found during Community Days in Pokemon Go. This weekend's event will not only increase Deino's appearances in the wild but also increase its chance of encountering its Shiny during the event period.
There are many differences between Shiny Deino and its regular counterpart. While normal Deino is blue and black, its Shiny variation is green and black. Whenever trainers encounter Deino, the Shiny mark will also appear next to his name to let them know it's different.
Trainers who put in the time are likely to encounter at least one Shiny form of the Community Day spotlight Pokemon during the event. Trainers can post an Incense to draw Pokemon to their location. Incense effectiveness has decreased while idle, however, and trainers can visit PokeStops and Gyms.
Trainers will also be able to track down Shiny Zweilous in the new Four-Star Raids. Zweilous Raids will appear after the event hours (2 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time), giving trainers a chance to challenge them with their friends. Trainers can catch these Zweilous if they defeat them, and they might even find a Shiny Zweilous along the way.
A Four-Star Raid will be able to command Deino to appear for 30 minutes within a 300-meter radius of the Gym after it has been defeated. After Community Day ends, trainers will certainly have a great opportunity to find Shiny Deino.
Deino will gain its Dark-type Charged Attack, Brutal Swing, after evolving from Deino to Hydreigon between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time on Saturday. A powerful Dark-type move in Pokemon Go, Hydreigon's Brutal Swing deals 65 base power, making it a formidable opponent against some of the most powerful Psychic-type Pokemon.
Developing Deino from Zweilous requires 25 Deino Candy, and achieving Hydreigon requires another 100. It is recommended that you use Pinap Berries before catching Deino during the event if you are having difficulty getting enough candy. When trainers use a Pinap before catching a Pokemon, they can earn four times the candy, in addition to the double candy bonus.
