League of Legends will return next month with the Star Guardians

On Monday, Riot Games teased a new trailer for League of Legends' Star Guardians. This marks the return of one of the popular skin lines, which will be playable on July 14.

Return to Valoran City is the new trailer for the League of Legends team of magical-girl heroes. The trailer teases fans about what might be on the horizon for them.

A mysterious figure wanders through a seemingly abandoned city in the trailer. While it sets an exciting mood, the trailer does not provide much information about the Star Guardians’ latest adventure. It feels similar to Makoto Shinkai's movies.

Aside from the Star Guardians 2022 orchestral theme music, Riot also released a preview of the following associated with the event.

With the 2015 launch of Star Guardian Lux, League of Legends introduced its first Star Guardians, but the following year added Jinx, Lulu, and Poppy.

The line has since expanded to include Corrupted Star Guardians such as Zoe, Rakan, and Xayah, and Miss Fortune, Syndra, Ezreal, Soraka, Ahri, Neeko, and Janna, as well as a unique universe and story separate from League of Legends' main canon.

The developer hasn't revealed anything specific about the new Star Guardians, but it does seem a bit suspect that it also released a short trailer for Nilah on June 17 alongside the announcement of the new Star Guardians.

Due to Nilah's proximity to the new Star Guardian event, there's a possibility that she might play a part in it, but we'll have to wait until Riot announces details.

Thank You!
