The Dragon Quest X offline release date has been announced

The release date for Dragon Quest X Offline in Japan has finally been announced. Square Enix revealed that it will release the game on September 15, 2022 on Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC. [Thank you Gematsu and Game Watch] Additionally, the Sleeping Hero and Guiding Ally Offline expansions will be available in Spring 2023.

A number of delays have occurred since the initial release date for Dragon Quest X Offline was February 26, 2022, but it has since been pushed back to December 2021 because of quality concerns. During the development period, Takuma Shiraishi expressed a desire to have the offline version look 'perfect.'

Since the season ends on September 22, 2022, it just makes the cut-off date for the new release window, which was summer 2022.

There will be both a digital and a physical version of Dragon Quest X Offline in Japan. The deluxe version of the game will include The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally Offline as well as some other items.
