Nick Bosa, Justin Herbert, Tristan Wirfs, and more are on the list of the top 2 players for the 2022 NFL season

  EDGE NICK BOSA

Bosa made 47 tackles, nine sacks, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and an interception in 16 games and 14 stars. After a promising start to his sophomore season, he tore his ACL in Week 2 and missed the remainder.

QB JUSTIN HERBERT

Over the past two seasons, Herbert has become one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. With 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, he threw for over 4,000 yards in his rookie season. Over 5,000 yards and 38 touchdowns were thrown by him this past season.

 RB JONATHAN TAYLOR

As a rookie, Taylor continued to do what he does best with 1,169 rushing yards after averaging more than 2,000 rushing yards per season during his time at Wisconsin.

 OT TRISTAN WIRFS

Over the past two seasons, Wirfs has been one of the best offensive linemen regardless of his age. Wrifs has established himself as one of the best right tackles in the game since receiving a starting spot right off the bat in his rookie campaign - and he already has a Super Bowl ring on his finger. This could be just the beginning of a very special career for just 23 years old.

 WR JUSTIN JEFFERSON,

As a rookie, Jefferson had 1,400 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns, earning a 90.4 grade. Following that, he went on to record 1,616 yards and 10 touchdowns with a 90.1 grade.

 LB MICAH PARSONS

In his rookie season, Parsons was nothing less than sensational. Despite much debate about which position he would play - defensive end or off-ball linebacker - Parsons not only played both but excelled at each with an 87.6 overall defensive grade and a 93.0 pass-rush grade.

WR JA’MARR CHASE,

Considering Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase are just one and two years into their NFL careers and are already in the top seven of a top 25 list, it is hard to believe college football allowed them to be on the same team at LSU.

DI JEFFERY SIMMONS

In his third NFL season, the former first-round pick had his best season to date. In 2021, Simmons led the Titans with 8.5 sacks and 62 pressures. His ceiling potential has always been high, and he has shown that more consistently than ever this year.

 CB A.J. TERRELL

Among cornerbacks last season, Terrell earned the highest coverage grade (90.1). He allowed just 29 catches for 200 yards and allowed a league-low 47.5 passer rating.

WR D.K. METCALF

It's not his overall statistics that make him in the top 10, but his dominance when targeted is why he's in the top 10. In each of the past two years, he has earned scores over 80.0 after recording a 67.9 grade as a rookie.

 EDGE RASHAN GARY

In 2021, Gary achieved multiple career highs. While Za'Darius Smith was out for most of the season, he recorded 9.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, 28 quarterback hits, eight tackles for loss, and 47 combined tackles.

  EDGE MAXX CROSBY

This past season, the Raiders' third-year pass-rusher became an elite player. He ranked second only to Myles Garrett in pass-rushing grade in 2021 with 91.7. Furthermore, Crosby leads all players under the age of 25 in total pressures over the past three seasons (200).

EDGE CHASE YOUNG

Young recorded 1.5 sacks, four tackles, a forced fumble, and a quarterback hit in his first game as a pro. During the subsequent games, he made 44 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles to earn Defensive Rookie of the Year. That resulted in an overall PFF grade of 87.1.

OT RASHAWN SLATER

Slater played left tackle as a rookie in 2021 and did not just survive, but thrive throughout the season. Very few players have been able to achieve this feat throughout the history of the NFL. Slater played 1,116 snaps, which ranked third among all rookie offensive linemen, and finished with an overall grade of 83.6, which was second among the same group.

EDGE BRIAN BURNS

Burns remains one of the most talented young defensive ends in the NFL today. He has registered 7.5, nine, and nine sacks in his first three seasons. Burns' 137 total pressures are fourth-most among young players in the NFL.

C CREED HUMPHREY

Humphrey had a sensational rookie season. As a rookie offensive lineman, he played the most snaps (1,184) and had the best grade (91.4).
