PUBG Mobile Cinco de Mayo Deathmatch: Format, timetable, and prizes

Cinco de Mayo is a popular festival in Mexico and parts of the USA.

This year is extra exciting for gamers, as Krafton has announced a special Cinco de Mayo Deathmatch event in PUBG Mobile with an $8,000 prize pool.

Interested parties should fill out this form and join the official PUBG Mobile esports Discord server for all event communication.

Registration is open till May 13th and then again from May 18th to 21st. Direct eliminations will be the format. So register and join the server for a blast.

Open Qualifiers will run from May 17th to 21st and May 24th to 28th. These will be split into three phases, with 64 teams qualifying for the second round and the top 32 qualifying for the final round.

16 teams will advance to the second round, each winning $100. This will be followed for both groups

The semi-finals will be contested on June 4th and 5th, with the top 8 teams from each day advancing to the final.

The Grand Finale on June 11-12 will also have three levels, with 16 qualified teams competing for 8 slots.

On the second day, the eight teams will battle for the top two spots.

These two elite teams will duke it out one last time to determine the ultimate victor.

The winning team gets $1,500 while the runner-up gets $1,300.
