PJ Lewis, VP and global head of action figures at Mattel, commented in a press release that the company is pleased to launch a new game on Roblox featuring characters and environments from the Netflix series.
Roblox previously collaborated with Gamefam on Hot Wheels Open World, which launched in November 2020.
Additionally, Gamefam partnered with SEGA to release Sonic Speed Simulator earlier this month. Roblox has built more than 20 original games based on its platform, including Robeats and Red Light, Green Light, which was modeled after one of the games in Netflix's runaway hit, Squid Game.
Roblox has nearly 50 million daily active users, making it one of the most important marketing channels for reaching younger consumers and families. Warner Brothers, Nike, etc. Discover and Sanrio's Hello Kitty (which had an immersive café experience launched by Rock Panda on Roblox today) are among the brands that have recently embraced the platform.
