After so many years, the original game is still one of the more beloved roguelites, receiving positive critical and consumer reception. Officially scheduled for release on April 28, there are still some questions about platforms.

Will Rogue Legacy 2 be released on PlayStation?
At the time of writing, there has been no official announcement regarding a PlayStation release. In addition, Cellar Door Games hasn't made any comments on a possible Nintendo Switch conversion. I'll update this guide as soon as the situation changes.
This shouldn't concern Nintendo and Sony fans too much, however. It may be recalled that the original Rogue Legacy was released across different platforms in staggered fashion.
In the end, it was released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and even iOS. The PC version was released first, followed by all PlayStation conversions in 2014.
Despite the console's launch in early 2017, the Nintendo Switch version was not released until late 2018.
Because of this, it's possible that the PlayStation 4 and Switch versions will appear at some point.
