Transferring Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Home

Pokémon Go lets you catch Pokémon in the real world wherever you go. You can encounter many of them as you walk through your neighborhood or travel to unique places.

Using Pokémon Home, you can bring them with you on your Pokémon adventure. When you catch Pokémon online, you can bring them to your favorite Pokémon games. Here is what you need to know about transferring Pokémon from Go to Home.

The same Nintendo Account must be used on both platforms. Otherwise, you will not be able to send Pokémon between the two. However, you can transfer Pokémon via Pokémon Home.

Pokémon Go lets you catch Pokémon in the real world wherever you go. You can encounter many of them as you walk through your neighborhood or travel to unique places.

After connecting the two accounts, you're ready to go. To send any of your Pokémon to Pokémon Home, visit this section and click the "Send Pokémon" tab, selecting any available Pokémon you have in your inventory.

Sending each Pokémon will require Go Transporter Energy. If you don't have Go Transporter Energy, you can't send any Pokémon. The energy recharges over time, with Legendary and Mythical Pokémon charging the most. Trainers begin with 10,000 Transporter Energy, gaining 60 energy every hour.

If you're having trouble sending some of your Pokémon from Go to Home, there are a few reasons behind this. First, if it's a Mythical or Legendary Pokémon, you need to make sure you hit a certain setting before you can do this.

It can be found in your Settings Tab by scrolling halfway down and hitting the Pokémon Tab. Choose Expanded Ground Transfer and your Mythical and Legendary Pokémon will now appear in your Home account.

In Pokémon which is not a Mythical or Legendary Pokémon, it cannot go Home.

Some Pokémon you can't send over are Favorited Pokémon, Buddy Pokémon, Pokémon defending Gyms, costumed Pokémon, Shadow Pokémon, Mega-Evolved Pokémon, and Spinda. Pokémon Home cannot accept Pokémon that meets any of these criteria.

Thank You!
